Chris Boys Director, Venture Development |
Chris is responsible for managing SVA’s portfolio of ventures and the allocation of strategic expertise and funding to support their growth. Prior to joining SVA, Chris worked as a management consultant in the Strategy & Business Architecture service line of Andersen Consulting/Accenture’s Products & Health Operating Group. Chris has also been an acting CEO for a non-profit start-up venture, conducting a feasibility study to support its core activities and establishing its governance structure.

Zena is responsibile for the coordination of the Venture Development team. She assists the team director and SVA portfolio managers, and she provides support to SVA's venture portfolio.
Zena has twelve years of solid experience in executive support, administration and project management across a broad range of industries.
Zena is passionate about young people and Indigenous issues and is a youth worker with a non-profit outreach service which provides information and support to young people. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Applied Social Science in Counselling.

Simon Faivel Manager, Venture Development |
Simon is a Manager in the Venture Development Team based in Melbourne. Simon has traveled extensively, working and volunteering in challenging and remote locations including China, Papua (Indonesia), India and Australia. He has consulting experience in commercial and community sectors, having advised global resources companies, Australian utilities, an Aboriginal corporation and an Indian NGO. Previously Simon was a strategy consultant in Accenture's Resources Operating Group, advising clients on strategic and operational decisions. He has also started, owned and operated two companies. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts (Hons. in Philosophy) from Monash University. Back to Top
Melissa Widner Manager
Melissa Widner is a General Partner in the venture capital firm, SeaPoint Ventures and held CEO positions at 7Software and Northwest Supply. Melissa served on the board of the Alliance of Angels, was the founder and President of the Seattle chapter of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, a member of Social Venture Partners and a lecturer at University of Washington’s Graduate School of Business.
Melissa holds a Masters from Stanford University and a Bachelors degree from the University of Washington.
