She came to Sydney to spend Year 11 at boarding school where she was matched with the AIME mentor who walked with her as she began her journey towards education and a rewarding career.

“AIME was my saving grace as I really didn’t think uni was a possibility for me”.

Zoe has progressed from mentee to mentor and is now a cadet with the AIME Finance and Partnering Team. ‘AIME pretty much led me to where I am today. I had no idea what I wanted to do or where I wanted to be until my AIME mentoring. But in Year 12, I decided I wanted to teach. I wanted to provide opportunities for as many kids as I could by instilling the importance of education and hopefully a love of learning.’

Zoe is in the fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Education, Social Science and Humanities and the University of Sydney.
