Atlassian Foundation

The Atlassian Foundation’s vision is to advance humanity through the power of software and education. The Foundation gives back in many ways – by giving Atlassian staff, known as Atlassians, time to support the causes they believe in, by donating licenses to non-profit projects, and by donating money to charities.

The Atlassian Foundation works with SVA to assist selected venture partners with their technology needs. Through this partnership technical projects are first evaluated by a business analyst and then matched to Atlassians volunteering their time.

The technology projects are piloted on the Atlassian Foundation’s new open source ‘crowdsourcing for good’ technology platform – Make a Diff.
