Program descriptionMulti-Systemic Therapy, which delivers family therapy in the home through highly qualified therapists. It focuses on improving parenting and rebuilding positive relationships so that families can manage future crisis situations.

Outcome Measurement

MetricNumber of days at-risk children spend in out of home care over 30 months post referral. Secondary metrics will be tracked to measure wider impact of the programme on young people and their families: education, offending and emotional wellbeing.
CounterfactualA historical case file review of 650 cases with data tracked over 30 months.
Outcome Calculation and TargetCare placement days saved relative to counterfactual. Target: 110 children diverted from OOHC (30% of cohort).
