Adelle Main

Adelle is a Consultant with Social Ventures Australia.

Prior to SVA, Adelle worked in community development, urban design and research, most recently at the Community Design Resource Centre in Houston, Texas. There she co-led community driven participatory planning projects that directly engaged questions of equity and justice in the built environment. Adelle has held a variety of research, design, and tertiary teaching roles within the non-profit, private, and education sectors in Australia and US. She has participated in several voluntary positions with the Red Cross and Emancipation Economic Development Council, and as a board member with both the Houston Community Land Trust and Open Architecture Collaborative (Houston Chapter).

Adelle holds a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture (Hons) from the University of Western Australia and a Master of International Urban and Environmental Studies (Distinction) from RMIT.
