Adrian Lim

Adrian is a Director Legal, Impact Investing at Social Ventures Australia (SVA). Adrian advises on legal, risk, compliance and governance matters. He works closely with the Synergis Fund, a disability housing fund where he also acts as Company Secretary for the investment manager.

Prior to SVA, Adrian had over 15 years’ experience as a banking lawyer and risk management executive. He commenced in private practice with King & Wood Mallesons, followed by Goldman Sachs in their London, Hong Kong and Sydney offices. Most recently Adrian led a regulatory risk and change implementation function within CBA’s Institutional Banking & Markets business. Adrian’s experience prior to SVA was focused on derivatives, funds and structured finance, as well as regulatory advocacy to improve investor protection and market transparency following the global financial crisis.

Adrian holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney.
