Casey Taylor

I believe in shifting capital markets for good towards an inclusive and regenerative economy. SVA plays a catalytic role in fostering the growth of the impact investing market in Australia and in developing investable solutions to society’s most intractable issues.

Casey joined SVA in 2017 to assist SVA’s growing social impact bond practice and deploy our impact investment funds. She is a social impact bond and outcomes based contracting guru, and has been involved in the development and capital raise of five social impact bonds ranging in focus from employment, mental health, out-of-home care and homelessness.

In her work in supporting the deployment and management of SVA’s Diversified Impact Fund, she is particularly passionate about investing in Indigenous owned business and social enterprises rising to the demands of conscious consumption.

Before joining SVA, Casey worked in Deal Advisory at KPMG across mergers and acquisitions, valuations, debt advisory and infrastructure.

She has volunteered as a mentor for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation and also undertook a Jawun secondment to the East Kimberly to develop an Indigenous-led, place-based employment initiative.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Business and Economics from the University of New England, and in 2018 was a witness at the Select Committee on Intergenerational Welfare Dependence.
