Connor Leevers
“Growing up in a small town in regional Victoria and witnessing place-based disadvantage, particularly through adverse mental health outcomes, helped shape my desire to contribute to alleviating disadvantage. At SVA, I have the opportunity to contribute to this on a wide scale by working with a range of like-minded individuals and passionate external organisations.”
Connor is an Analyst in SVA’s Impact Investing team, working primarily across the social impact bond and outcomes-based contracting practice.
Prior to this, Connor worked as a Consultant at KPMG, working alongside both government and corporations, to strengthen their control and governance processes. Connor has spent time working within the finance department on large Victorian infrastructure projects, and across financial services remediation projects at NAB, the National Australia Bank.
Connor has also facilitated sporting clinics for young children living with disability, assisting them in developing their physical, sporting and social skills within a safe environment.
Connor holds a Bachelor of International Studies (International Relations) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Deakin University. Whilst studying, he completed a consulting internship, working with a youth mental health foundation to develop a strategy and communications plan for their employment and education division.
