Harvey Jaques Mitchell

‘There is a glaring gap between the idealised ‘fair go’ that is supposedly afforded to all Australians and the social inequalities that so many people face in this country. SVA is determined to reconcile this difference and I am proud to be able to contribute to this goal.’

Harvey is an  Analyst within the Consulting team. Prior to joining SVA on a permanent basis, Harvey worked as an intern within the Policy and Advocacy team. He worked on the Partners in Recovery project which focussed on supporting vulnerable charities and their beneficiaries in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. Harvey is proud of his Whadjuk Noongar heritage and particularly passionate about achieving equal opportunity and self-determination for First Nations people, supporting systematic change to Australia’s justice system.

Harvey holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in Criminology and Philosophy from the University of Melbourne.
