‘I believe all Australians should have equal access and opportunity – and the source of solutions are often in communities experiencing disadvantage. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with educators across Australia, and to combine my passion for storytelling and evidence to share the value of SVA’s work across systems.’

Bella is the Marketing Associate for the SVA Bright Spots Schools Connection team. The Connection is an innovative collaborative network for school leaders, assisting projects and practices of educators to better alleviate experiences of disadvantage in their school communities. Bella is responsible for the development and delivery of marketing and communications activities for the program.

Bella came to SVA for an internship during her university course in 2018, and has since returned in a number of marketing roles assisting teams across the organisation. She has a background in marketing, communications, business development and administration, having worked for a number of private sector organisations and freelance as a communications and content creator. She is passionate about equitable education, mental health, refugee and LGBTQI+ rights, and has volunteered for organisations and campaigns across these areas.

Bella holds a Bachelor of Communications (Social & Political Science) from the University of Technology Sydney and a Certificate II in Film & Media.
