Susan Metcalf

‘Every Australian should have access to a great education, a satisfying job and stable roof over their head, along with opportunity by design, not by chance. Business has an important role to play in a civil society so I was drawn to SVA by the opportunity to bring together philanthropy and corporates, government and the social sector towards a common purpose.’

Susan’s general management, marketing and relationship management skills have taken her from big brands like McDonalds and Disney to leaders in the social sector including the Smith Family and numerous community organisations. As a Board member Susan has helped oversee and advise TAFE NSW, UPA (an aged care provider) and Scouts Australia NSW.

Susan is a Vincent Fairfax Fellow at the Centre for Ethical Leadership, and holds a post Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University Graduate School of Management, and a Diploma Law (SAB) from Sydney University.
