Positive Education Schools Association
Objective
Positive Education Schools Association (PESA) is a peak association that works to promote and foster the implementation of Positive Education in schools across Australia. SVA Consulting was engaged to support PESA in developing a strategic plan to guide the strategic priorities and key initiatives of the organisation over the next three years.
Role we played
Working closely with the CEO and Board of PESA, SVA Consulting:
- Developed a comprehensive understanding of the context of PESA and the Positive Education market
- Resolved key strategic questions on the role PESA will play in fostering the adoption of Positive Education
- Documented a pragmatic, 3-year strategic plan outlining its strategic priorities, key initiatives, financial projections, and implementation roadmap
- Proposed recommendations around the governance structure that would most effectively support implementation of the strategic plan.
Impact
The PESA Board has endorsed the new strategic plan, which provides the organisation with focus and alignment on PESA’s objectives and priorities to 2020 and beyond. One of the proposed initiatives, the development of a Positive Education Framework, is being progressed over the course of 2018.
