House with No Steps Three-Year Strategic Plan and Performance Management Framework
Objective
SVA Consulting was engaged to develop a three-year strategic plan for House with No Steps as well as the tools, methods and frameworks for implementation performance tracking.
Role we played
Working closely with House with No Steps, SVA Consulting:
- Reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of the previous three-year plan and identified lessons to take forward into the new planning period
- Engaged the House with No Steps leadership team, board and staff to develop a set of strategic goals, taking into account the complex and changing nature of the disability sector and the opportunity to leverage the new opportunities brought about by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Developed a clear pathway for implementation, ensuring clear accountability, milestones and risks for execution.
Impact
House with No Steps has a clear path forward, focused on six strategic goals. These goals will support it to meet the needs of its customers, navigate the NDIS changes and grow its impact. In addition, the organisation can track progress against the plan and has a line of sight between implementation activities and the strategic goals.
