“I’ve grappled since childhood with just how much the lottery of birth impacts the lives we end up living. One way I find meaning is through work that seeks to morph our world towards one in which we can all flourish. SVA’s systems approach to driving sustainable social change appeals to me, along with our openness to pluralism, and commitment to staying humble and curious.”

Selena joined SVA Consulting after 15 years of working in various strategy, business development and project management roles across Europe, Asia and Australia at the French state-owned Areva group. Her diverse experience includes collaborating with US national laboratories to strengthen nuclear non-proliferation within the industry, constructing nuclear power plants in France, Finland and the UK, and advising South-East Asian governments on nuclear safety culture. Most recently Selena worked as a consultant for French social purpose organisations Social Builder (bridging the digital gender divide) and DEFI Services + (creating employment pathways for the disadvantaged) as part of the On Purpose associate programme.

Selena currently serves on the board of Australian not-for-profit The Global Foundation and as an advisor to UK charity A Blueprint for Better Business. She holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Business Administration from Collège des Ingénieurs and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from Monash University.
