Covid-19 guide to key Government opportunities for not-for-profits and charities

With the onset of COVID-19, we are operating in a new world. While there are many changes and challenges, one constant is that SVA is continuing to work with our partners, both for the crisis today and for the Australia we want tomorrow.

Governments have been announcing measures designed to relieve the burden and maintain cash flow for organisations as they respond to the situation. There has been a steady stream of announcements, so it can be difficult to keep up.

We have shared this short guide that outlines the most material announcements for not-for-profits and charities, as a result of government announcements at 7 August, 2020. First published in April, we continue to update the guide as frequently as required to ensure it remains useful.

The guide was prepared as part of our work with the Paul Ramsay Foundation. The Foundation shared it with their partners who found it useful, and we have shared it more broadly with the hope it will be valuable to the broader sector as well.

Our team is continuing to work with our clients, partners and friends to ensure that the impacts of this health, economic and social crisis are temporary and that we are a stronger community in its aftermath.
